Clay Art Studio - Class Schedule

Youth Sessions meet once a week for 6 weeks. Adult Sessions meet once a week for 10 weeks.
New Sessions start at the beginning of each Quarter.

YOUTH CLASSES
The Two of Us: Spend quality time with your 7 - 12 year old. This class, for you and your child to attend together, teaches the basics of hand building with clay. Explore the possibilities together, you'll have as much fun as your child.
Saturday 10:00 - 11:30 AM, 8 week session. $185.00 per couple

Clay Basics: A learning experience in form, dimension and design through hand building and sculpting clay for ages 12-15.
Saturday 12:00 - 1:30 PM, 8 week session. $120.00

ADULT CLASSES
Wheel Thrown Pottery: Learn the basics of pottery on the wheel or go on to more advanced forms. This class is for all skill levels; beginner to advanced. Ages 15 & up.
Tuesday 6:00 - 8:30 PM, 10 week session. $150.00
Thursday 6:00 - 8:30 PM, 10 week session. $150.00
Saturday 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM, 10 week session. $150.00

Hand Building & Sculpture: Explore the possibilities of hand built, slab built and sculpted clay. Ages 15 & up.
Thursday 6:00 - 8:30 PM, 10 week session. $150.00

Combo Monday: Learn a combination of basic techniques in hand building & wheel thrown pottery. Ages 15 & up.
Monday 3:30 - 5:30 PM, 10 week session. $150.00

WORKSHOPS
RAKU Workshop: Want to learn about traditional and horsehair Raku firing techniques? This workshop is for you. Must have bisque fired pieces. All glazes and supplies are included. Adults only.
March 21, 2009. $50.00

Tile Workshop: Learn to make decorative tile. Discussions on clay types, proper construction and drying techniques, and surface decoration. Adults only.

For the clay artist without equipment we offer studio time by the hour.
